Simple, and has all the ideal tools.

Found this really useful for creative writing, it has all the fonts, alignments, color options, text styles and sizes, and more neat features besides that you could need. I imagine that it would also be useful for writing assignments, or really whatever you could need it for.

The only grudge I have against it is that it produces this clacking and zipping noise as you type and press “Enter” for a new line, which has it’s charm because it resembles a typewriter, but when you’re writing chapters, and you have music on to keep your mind in the scenario, the endless “CLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKZZIIIPPPCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKCLACKZIIIIPPPCLACK” starts to become kind of torturous, because the noise is connected to your speakers in the same way your music is, and you can’t quiet it, or turn it off unless you mute the sound on your computer.
At least, I haven’t found a way to turn it off yet.

If you were already thinking about downloading the app, don’t let that discourage you, just, be warned. …And have your speakers turned down a bit.
